Marking a Task as done and not on hold

How do i mark a task as done, and ensure its not on hold at the same time via the API using

https://app.liquidplanner.com/api/v1/workspaces/workspaceid/tasks/taskid

With a POST method and get a 404 error

and PUT gives a 400 error
