send user name and password via URL

I want to be able to retrieve an image of a fully-formed dashboard via the command line. I have a script to do this, but I need to be able to send a username and password with the url - is it possible to do this?

ie. user%40emailaddress:password@https://app.liquidplanner.com/space/XXXXXX/dashboards/6292

That format doesn't work - it just redirects to the login page.
