SSL Certificate problem

We presently use a program to extract timecard data from LP every month.
We are receiving the following error:
curl: (60) SSL certificate problem, verify that the CA cert is OK.
Details: error: 14090086:SSL routine:
SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed
We are wondering if your certificate has recently changed (maybe within the
last month or so?) Any help for this would be appreciated. Thank you.
