Using LP API's from Sharepoint Workflows

I want to understand the possibilities of the Liquid Planner api's a bit more.

In LP we have a template of tasks we use when we get an order for an event. We duplicate the tasks and call it the name and date of the event. The template contains all the things that need to be done by our team.

The orders for the events arrive in Sharepoint. I was thinking we could use a SharePoint Workflow to kick off a process of activities, and I was wondering if its possible to then send an API call to Liquid Planner to create a project based on our template, and populate it with the event name and other basic details?

If this is possible, has anyone done anything with Sharepoint workflows connecting to LP that I might be able to see?

I'm not a developer so just trying to get my head around it at this stage.
